Back in May of this year Gina & Tom took a call from a competition winner where it was discovered that her life had been transformed following an injury to her husband which had follow up complications following surgery.

Gina & Tom were so moved by this phone call and he impact this injury has had on both of their lives that they decided there and then to do something for Michelle and Phil.

Jump forward a few months and we were able to treat them to a meal for two and concert on their 12 year anniversary.

It was so lovely to get to meet some of our listeners and let them enjoy some quality time together this festive period.

We hope you enjoyed your anniversary and can’t wait to have you listening in to Pure West Radio this Christmas and into 2024.

The winter solstice, the shortest day of the year was yesterday.

As much as I am appreciating the twinkly lights and the cosy nights in, I do have to admit that I’m definitely more of a summer person.

Shorts and t shirt, late evenings, pretty sunsets. All things that put a smile on my face.

This picture featuring Helen and Jill was taken at the Pembrokeshire in 2022. The first time it had returned with public access first time hosting on the Pure West Radio stage with Gina in the morning.

Blowing my mind that that my camera roll has thrown this picture up from 2021!

Hope has it been so long since I’ve seen the wonderful Paul Rothwell… I’m fairly certain I haven’t seen him since.

Presenting that concert was so brilliant, it heralded the end of lockdown good and proper and paved the way for me to do more presenting.

I used to sit next to Paul in the office everyday. Great fun.

In that concert I got to great him sing a few songs, including I’d Rather Be Sailing. Beautiful.
